And the manna ceased on the morning after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year. It is so easy for us to become so comfortable with the familiar that we miss opportunities to receive blessings that we have prayed for, because going after them means we have to leave our comfort zone. But in order to have the promises of God, we must leave the familiar (embrace being uncomfortable), trusting and believing that God will do just what He said. We cannot expect to receive new blessings with an old mentality. We must be willing to change; to evolve in order to appreciate the next level. So the question to ask yourself is this: "Do I have an appetite for the season I'm in or the season I've been?" How you answer this question will be the determining factor of whether or not you are ready to go to the next level. The choice is yours. Be Blessed! |
