There are some people who will say things to you whom you would have never expected to say them. The initial shock doesn't necessarily come from what was said, but who said it. You probably would have fainted if you weren't so consume with disbelief. Has that ever happened to you?
Though hurtful words are inevitable for us to encountered, we must remember that it is not what other people say about us or to us that matters; it is what we are saying to ourselves. The scripture above says that we are who we think we are. Not who or what someone else has said. Therefore, we should mind our power. We should never let negative words drown out what we believe about ourselves. Mind your power! If someone is speaking negative words about you or you are speaking negative words about yourself, mind your power! Life and death is in the power of your tongue; choose life. Choose words that are uplifting and inspiring. Associate with people who want to do the same. And when you run into someone who is the total opposite, remember to- mind your power! Be Blessed!
