Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.
There are many opportunities in any given day for us to become angry. Though being angry is not a bad thing, we are told to not let the sun go down (going to bed ) and we are still angry. We should have come to a resolve concerning the situation.
Personally, I have learned that even if I can't get a resolve with the individual, I can come to a resolve within myself that allows me to be in compliance with this scripture. I make my decision based on the information I have concerning the matter, boundaries (based on my standards and principles), and obedience to the Word of God.
These three things have given me the freedom to not allow another person's actions or behavior to hold me hostage. I'm free. Not because of an apology, but because I choose to be.
What strategies do you have in place that helps you to comply with this scripture?
