The words of our enemies, may it be hurtful or not, will not be the thing that we will remember the most. It is indeed the silence of our brothers and friends that will remain in our hearts forever. This statement of Martin Luther King Jr. is definitely one of his most memorable. In my own honest opinion, I think what he meant when he said this was the value of friendship outweighs the hate and violence that our enemies bring upon us.
