By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.
See Ecclesiastes 11:18
Whatever we give our attention to, we make it important. If you want to kill it, ignore it.
Neglect, when you really think about it, can work for you or against you; depending on what you are neglecting. If you neglect you daily responsibilities concerning health, wholeness, & well-being of yourself and others, then you will acquire an abundance of problems that are not beneficial. However, if you neglect negative criticism ( that's intended to tear you down and not build you up), or those things that will take up your time, energy,& money without adding value to you or those you love, then it can be beneficial.
You must make a conscious decision each day to examine those things that are adding value to your life and those things that are depleting you. And remember, if you want to rid yourself of anything that's not worthy of your time, energy, or resources, just ignore it. BE BLESSED!
