See Joshua 1:8
To accomplish something is simply to complete a task-whether finishing the laundry, or completing your homework. We accomplish many tasks each day, most of them mundane and lacking any eternal significance. Our real struggle comes with knowing how much we should try to accomplish and dealing with the feeling of frustration and inferiority that comes when we don't accomplish what we hoped to; especially when we compare ourselves to others and their accomplishments. Does no awards, no promotions, or no great victories mean we have failed? Of course not!
The Bible mentions many physical accomplishments, but it also highlights spiritual accomplishments-which we so often overlook. Things such as: an active prayer life, Christian maturity, ministering to our neighbors about salvation, overcoming temptations, or encouragement to those in need. These are the kinds of accomplishments that need to take priority in our lives. Remember: You can accomplish great things with God's help (Ps. 60:12). BE BLESSED!
