May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.

If you live in Atlanta and the surrounding areas, then you know the importance of patience. On Tuesday of this week, we encountered a snow storm that tried every ounce of patience one could muster. Five minute commutes taking forty-five minutes; forty-five minutes commutes taking anywhere from three to eighteen hours, depending on the road traveled. Bumper to bumper traffic as parents hasten to pick their children up from school -some of whom didn't reach their destination causing children to spend the night at their schools/daycares. People stranded on the highways, etc., etc., etc.
However, God is good! He allowed safe return of children to their parents, loved ones to their homes, and peace of mind to all who experience this amazing yet frustrating opposition.
According to the Bible, patience is a form of perseverance and forbearance that allows us to respond to frustrating circumstances with grace and self-control. Contrary to popular beliefs, patience is not merely a personality trait, but a by-product of the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in the heart and mind of the believer. So to all of us who experienced the snow storm this week, Congratulations! We endured with patience. To God Be The Glory!!!
