For there is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Do you have a hard time apologizing or asking for forgiveness after you have made a mistake? Do you forgive yourself, or do you harbor on the mistake over and over again?
As we know and have heard time and time again, "we all make mistakes." But even though we know that, if you are anything like me, we harbor on our mistakes; which only makes us feel condemned. Well, I have good news! You don't have to put so much emphasis on your mistakes. Instead, transfer that emphasis to apologizing, seeking forgiveness-even if you are the one who is offended, and move forward; not to repeat the mistake again.
The Bible is full of people who have made mistakes, but God used them anyway (David, Saul, Paul, Peter) just to name a few. I don't know about you, but the fact that with mistakes, flaws and all, God can and will use me to bring glory to His name, gives me hope and great joy.
The next time you make a mistake and you are tempted to beat yourself up, remember "we all make mistakes." The key is not to wallow in them. BE BLESSSED!
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
