Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward. Deuteronomy 2:3
Is there something God has told you to do, but because of fear, doubt, or unbelief, you haven't done it yet? Our purpose is to move in the direction that God tells us. We are not to question Him for any reason. This is how we develop trust. We learn that we can trust God, and we show Him that He can trust us. And in the process, our faith is developed an established.
If we choose to serve God and live His way, we can avoid wrestling with Him and what He has told us to do. We will allow the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to remind us that God has our best interest at heart and will not steer us in the wrong direction. Rememberance of His promise to never leave us nor forsake us will refresh our hope and aid us in doing His will.
If we are serious about serving God, we will allow wisdom to tell us to let God do what He wants to do in our lives, when He wants to do it, hereby saving us from wasting time going around in circles as the Israelites did.
No matter how much we enjoy the life we currently have, it was never meant for us to become stagnant in it. God is a moving God. If we have any intentions of being His servant then we too will have to move. We must not become so attached to things, people, or places that we can't move in the direction God has called us to. God has new lessons for us to learn, new places for us to see so that we can continue to be fresh, full of life, full of growth, and full of His great purposes for our lives. BE BLESSED!!!!!!
Deuteronomy 1:2 Amplified Version
It is only eleven days journey from Horeb by the way of Mount Seir to Kadesh-barnea [on Canaan's border; yet Israel took forty years to get beyond it].
