My family experienced a crisis last week that although wasn't unfamiliar to me, was unfamilar for my sister. However, through it all, I could see the hand of God working on our behalf every step of the way. I made sure that each time I noticed His grace and mercy, I thanked Him for it. For I have learned to give thanks in every situation we face. Though my sister has not gotten to that point yet, I knew that I had to thank God on her behalf as well. I didn't want God to think that just because she couldn't see it, that His goodness wasn't seen or appreciated. I know you must be saying, "God already knows." And that's true. However, I have developed a relationship with God where I talk to Him just as I talk to you. It works for me and I love how He honors our relationship.
As you know, I am constantly reading material that will not only edify me, but those whom I influence as well as come in contact with. Although I can't remember who wrote the thought I will leave you with, I hope and pray that it will bless your soul as it has blessed mine. BE ENCOURAGED!
God doesn't waste our pain, our rejections, or our "shipwrecks." He uses them to bring about His plan-to position us so that others can see His transforming power at work in our lives and believe in the living God. Our challenge then becomes to rise from the wreckage so that our lives will give testimony that draws others to Jesus.
