Beloved, I wish above all things that thou prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3John 1:2
We have heard over and over again the importance of exercise included in our daily activities. Although it is very important to exercise physical, it is also just as important to exercise mentally. You are probably wondering, "how do we exercise mentally?" We exercise mentally by reading/studying. As Christians, we know the importance of reading/studying our bibles daily. We also know that listeniing to inspirational songs, and messages aids in our spiritual growth and development as well. But what we probably don't know is that the more time we spend edifying our mind with godly things, the more we desire to have more of God, and less of ourselves. His concerns becomes our concerns, His ways our ways, His likes/dislikes ours.
We think that it is impossible to be more like Christ than we already are; not true. In fact, the more time we spend with Him, the more we become like Him. Just as it is true in the world, it is true with God: Association Brings About Assimilation.
What a joy and priviledge it is to know that what we desire to have the most, and once thought was impossible, has been clarified and become so simple. All we have to do is spend more quality time with God, learning about Him, and we will prosper not only spiritually, but mentally, emotionally, financially, and physically as well. BE BLESSED!
