"Helped Wanted!"

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, on "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:16-20 (NIV)

After the resurrection of Jesus, the disciples were given instructions to go and make disciples all over the world. Just as Jesus was looking for disciples back then, He is still looking for disciples now. As Christians, we are called to spread the Word of God every where we go. We are to spread "the good news" to those we come in contact with. Never are we to be ashame of being a follower of Jesus. It is because of Jesus that we have been made free from our sins.

Just as you would fill out an application to apply for a job in the natural world, you have to apply for your position as a Christian in the spirit. However, your application in the spirit is your confession. One must confess his sins to God, repent, and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior before proceeding to the next phase-hence, the application process. Once you have accepted the job of discipleship by becoming baptized for the remission of sins and upon receiving the Holy Ghost, along with studying God's Word and applying it to your everyday life, then are you ready to go out and make more disciples by the teaching of God's Word.

God is looking for people who are rooted, and grounded in His Word. Those that are stedfast, unmoveable, ready, willing, an able to do what He has called them to do. Is that person you? Have you taken the "help wanted" sign to the Master to apply for the position? Do you know what is required of you inorder to be considered for the job? Are you ready to leave behind your old life/ your old way of thinking to walk into a life of newness an oneness with God? If you have taken the sign before the Lord to apply for the position of servant, congratulations! If you haven't, what are you waiting for?

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few: Pray ye therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:37-38
