Press Through Your Mess!

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood for twelve years. And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but grew worse. When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. Mark 5:25-27, 29
I wonder what would have become of her had she not pressed through her mess? Here we have a woman who has had this issue for twelve long years. I'm sure there were times when she probably just wanted to give up. But her hope and faith in God wouldn't allow her to. She states in verse 28, "If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. That's the kind of faith that produces results!
What issues are you dealing with, that may have you at the point where you have tried everything you know to try except Jesus? Don't let it take you twelve years to try Him. Take your issues to Him, believing that because you have turn it over to Him, He is going to take care of it.
One thing I have learned in my Christian walk, is that until a person gets sick and tired of being sick and tired, it is only then that he/she will start to put forth an effort to change. Only then, after they have tried everything they knew to try, that they will even consider Jesus. Don't let that be you! Be obedient to the Word of God and stop causing yourself unnecessary stress; take it to the Lord, believing that your situation will be taken care of. And please for heaven's sake, don't stop coming to Church, Sunday School, or Bible Study, beacuse you have issues. That's where you want to be; where you can find refuge, help, and compassion while you are going through. Don't run away from God-run to God!
And  he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
Mark 5:34
