Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7
Question for today: What are you sowing in the lives of those you come in contact with on a daily basis?
Are you sowing things that you want to reap? Something to think about huh.
Each day we wake up, we need to have a set goal to be the best servant of God we can possibly be. We need to purpose in our hearts to have an encouraging word for those we come in contact with. In doing so, we are recognizing that we are not the only ones in need, and that if we take our focus off of our problems, and direct it to helping someone else, the Lord will be more incline to work on our behalf.
It is such a blessing to know that you have helped inspire someone (through the word of God)who thought that their life was hopeless. God sent His word to heal and deliver us; but if we don't share His word with those we come in contact with ( those in need of healing/deliverance), how can the word manifest itself? We have to understand that most of the people we come in contact with on a daily basis are not saved people. Some may not know God, some may know of Him, and some are confused by the thought of Him. Either way, as Christians (as God's representatives), it is our responsibility to introduce to some/present to others, who He is and the benefits in serving Him.
I know a lot of you think that you have to be very knowledgeable of the Word, or that you have to be a Christian for a number of years in order to share the gospel. That's not true! All you have to have, is an experience with God. Once you have had an experience with God, trust me, not only will you be excited about sharing it, but noone can take it away from you. The more you know Him, the more you want Him, and want to share of His goodness!
We sing a song at church that says, "If it had not been for the Lord who was on our side, where would we be?" Think about it. I mean really give it some thought. I lot of us know where we would be had it not been for God's grace and mercy.
With that thought ingrained in your head, let's be more mindful of the things we are saying or not saying to those we come in contact with. Let us sow seeds of love, joy, peace, forgiveness, and compassion so that in due season, we can reap the same. IN JESUS' NAME, AMEN.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9
